I then tried calling this number: 877-322-9227. I got through to a technician who verified some personal information and removed my suspension. The reason given was, it is standard procedure when they see high volumes on new accounts. (I don't think 12 is high volume and only 4 active listings at the moment but idk...)
I have the situation where I'm trying to sell an item and am asked for verification at the end of the process. My existing phone number cannot be verified, neither can an alternate one. I have had the account for years.
