I’ve heard this a bunch growing up but wondering if the same advice applies to more modern engines, in that it’s good for it to “stretch its legs” every week or so instead of always keeping it at 3k RPMs or under. I guess it makes sense but I’m not quite knowledgeable about cars.

Under the hood; the #VCTurbo 2.0L engine still makes 268 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque, but the CVT transmission feels lethargic and makes the peaky engine feel even more laggy. We clocked a decent 0-60 MPH time in 6.7 secs though, while MPG is 22/28.
