14 wrz 2024 · Even east based NAO- can be risky for the south if we end up under a Euro low regime (July 2021 and September just gone being examples). East based NAO- is great for winter though all around and tends to bring outstanding weather to Scotland and northern England.
Expect activity to expand and focus along a southwest to northeast axis ahead of additional frontal boundaries this weekend and into early next week as robust upper trough/closed low energy digs upstream into the West Coast to re- amplify the flow over the Lower 48 and vicinity.
