Lindberg, Hautala, and the Trips to Eastern Karelia . Carolus Lindberg (5.11.1889 – 10.5.1955) graduated as an architect from the Helsinki University of Technology in 1914 and became the first architect in Finland to earn a doctorate in technology five years later.
