Uninstall the EA app, go to Techspot and download the origin installer. Worked for me, I wasn't able to launch BF2024 due to the app crashing. Shame on EA really.
Okay so I fixed it by forcing task close on the "eabackgroundservice" and going to windows services and setting everything xbox and ea related from manual to automatic... took me like 20 hours to just get the launcher going. great work by EA.
