24 kwi 2023 · How I fixed mine: 1. Install the game through Steam, normally. 2. If you don't already have the EA app installed, install it. Note that the game will not be indicated as "Installed" in the EA app. Yet! 3. Now install the game through the EA app and indicate exactly the folder you installed the game through steam.

Open the app, click on the EA app menu (next to the Apple logo) in the top-left corner & left-click on ' Account '. Left-click on 'Go Offline'. Left-click on 'YES, I'M SURE'. The EA app will now restart, and you can launch a game that supports offline play.
10 lut 2024 · I just wanted to play Battlefield 3, bought it on Steam and had to download this garbage app that won't even launch it or register its existence regardless of what I do to try and fix it. Resorting to pirating EA games is a better choice than dealing with all the hassle this app brings.
I have bf2042 and nfs heat on steam and presently unable to launch them at all, I also have anthem and swbf 2 installed via the ea app. After so much searching online for a working fix to this problem that has been a pain in the ass to be light.
