Open the steam console = windows key + R, then type "steam://nav/console". Paste this = download_depot 489830 489833 2442187225363891157. Copy the file path and replace the newly updated SkyrimSE.exe in your game folder with the older one you just downloaded. This worked fine for me.
I think I found a solution for those who want to downgrade from skyrim AE version 1.6.1170.0 to earlier (AE 1.6.xxx or SE 1.5.97) (since the unofficial skyrim special edition downgrade patcher for skyrim se version 1.6.1170.0 isn't available yet)
21 sie 2024 · For Steam, AFAIK 1.6.1170 is the latest Skyrim SE. No downgrade necessary. A source of mod compatibility for various versions of SE can be found at ( https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins) here on the Nexus. Compare it to your mod list to see if you need to change anything.
31 gru 2023 · The only other suggestion I have is verify the integrity of your game cache through Steam and run the game through Steam, 1170 with no mods, mod manager, or SKSE. If that works, then try the downgrade procedure.
