the original project is https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft-bedrock/addons/held-light-sources which has more features if that's what you want. To be clear, dropped light sources, light sources on mobs and every other aspect in held light sources is identical.
This modification makes 'shining' items illuminate everything around them if. 1) the player has them equipped (in hand/armor) 2) they are dropped on the ground. You may add any Item ID you wish as shiny item, via the settings file. Also supports armor items!
