I got a DUI about a year ago in VA and I’m in like my 4th week of ASAP (took awhile to get started bc of COVID) anyways the anxiety that comes with getting a DUI literally keeps me up and I was just wondering if anyone had success stories after getting a dui?
I’m responding to someone who asked for success stories after a DUI a couple of weeks ago - sorry I can’t find the OP, but hopefully they read this. I’m also posting here to share for my own sake because, well, there’s not many other places I can share. I have 2 DUI’s in my past.
I'm on interlock until July, which is a daily reminder (and a little bit of a scarlet letter) of what I did. I blew 0.16, which in MN is an automatic 3rd degree dui. So the charges were raised. But I plead guilty to a 4th degree and life has been pretty normal since I got out of alcohol treatment.
