I have tried following all of the previously posted suggestions and have restarted my computer and nothing - NOTHING - seems to work. My DVD player of preference is VLC. Having this dumb store screen pop up each time I insert a DVD is more than annoying.
Go to: Settings > Devices > AutoPlay > Removable drive This was set to Open folder to view files, I changed it to No action and now my CD's stay in the tray. Found the solution thanks to this blog post.

Your computer randomly trying to access removable media sounds like malware trying to copy itself to a writable DVD. Things you can try: Perform a malware check (e. g. with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Boot on safe mode and run HijackThis to search maually for unwanted start-up items.

31 maj 2018 · If launched from the Start menu (not the "pinned" display) the app incorrectly launches. If launched from the Start menu "pinned" display the app also incorrectly launches. Post restart of the system, the affected application is no longer present in the start menu.
