I have tried following all of the previously posted suggestions and have restarted my computer and nothing - NOTHING - seems to work. My DVD player of preference is VLC. Having this dumb store screen pop up each time I insert a DVD is more than annoying.
15 wrz 2015 · This can be fixed by closing Windows DVD Player, inserting the DVD into your DVD drive, and then re-opening the Windows DVD Player app. Inserting a DVD opens the Windows Store.
I have a Samsung CD/DVD-writer drive SH-S223F (5 1/4" ATA not USB). On Windows 7 lately, this drive has developed a mind of its own. Specifically, the drive tray keeps opening and closing randomly by itself. I don't know what the problem is, but the behavior is very erratic and irritating.

Solution: Open the Local Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). Navigate to User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer. Find and double click the Remove CD Burning features setting. Change the setting to Enabled, and click Okay. Log off and then log back in.
