I have tried following all of the previously posted suggestions and have restarted my computer and nothing - NOTHING - seems to work. My DVD player of preference is VLC. Having this dumb store screen pop up each time I insert a DVD is more than annoying.

I have a Samsung CD/DVD-writer drive SH-S223F (5 1/4" ATA not USB). On Windows 7 lately, this drive has developed a mind of its own. Specifically, the drive tray keeps opening and closing randomly by itself. I don't know what the problem is, but the behavior is very erratic and irritating.

13 maj 2012 · By gently pulling the drawer open while pushing on the close button you can pull the drawer back to the proper adjustment for the sensor, and hopefully fix the problem. This worked for me, after spending months in the open position with no way to keep it closed.
19 gru 2023 · Step 1 – Download VLC player’s desktop version app. Step 2 – After installing the VLC player, simply insert the DVD in DVD drive and open VLC player.
