Results: Ninety men with androgenetic alopecia were recruited. The increase in total hair count per cm[2] representing new growth was significantly higher in dutasteride group (baseline- 223 hair; at 24 weeks- 246 hair) compared to finasteride group (baseline- 227 hair; at 24 weeks- 231 hair).
Hairs that I thought were regrowth just disappeared and more hair looks thinner and smaller. I think I'm screwed hairline wise. And I don't bleed for microneedling (I use 1.5mm) but I do see some red dots.

There was an attenuated regrowth effect from 12-24 weeks vs. BL-12 weeks for LLLT (women: 70%, men: 54%), Nutrafol (women: 55%), and Viviscal (men: 63%). A flatlining effect was observed after 12 weeks for Dutasteride 0.5 mg (men: 5%) and Finasteride 1 mg (men: 11%).
