Most required texts are available for purchase from the Duke University Bookstore. If the Bookstore is out of copies, there are alternatives: Electronic access: many publishers and resellers offer ebooks either for purchase or rental, and some offer discounts to Duke Law students.
Borrowing Law Library Materials. Most law library items may be checked out for 90 days. Some collections, such as Reference materials, do not circulate outside the library, but are eligible for the GoodScan service. Books and other resources available in the Reserve collection are limited to 4-hour checkout.

Duke Law students should use the LibCal seat reservation system for study rooms and other reservable library study spaces by clicking the Make an Online Reservation link above. Students may make up to ten reservations in one week, and the maximum reservation time is two hours, but back-to-back reservations are permitted.
