In addition to computational computing services, IT@DU also manages additional Research Technology services, as the need arises or on behalf of a researcher. Current systems managed are: REDCap, Sona Systems (used exclusively by the Department of Psychology), and a proof-of-concept instance of elabFTW (electronic scientific notebook).
Online studies can be created within the Sona Experiment Management System using a point-and-click interface, or you can use a study hosted on an external web site (such as SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics).
Managed with the SONA systems software, this is the primary means through which undergraduate students may participate in research studies for course credit. Note that for users wishing to register for paid research opportunities, there is a separate login portal for the Paid Research System.
