There are several possible causes of a dry, cracked , crusty looking nose on your dog. The most common cause is called idiopathic nasal hyperkeratosis. Idiopathic nasal hyperkeratosis occurs in middle aged to older brachycephalic dogs like Cocker spaniels, boxers, and bulldogs.
