I am looking for a flip phone that has no contract or monthly fee, and ideally prepaid minutes that don't expire. This will be used as an emergency "home phone" and will probably never be used, but just has to be physically there. Hopefully there is a way to do this on a very low budget.

Seems comparable to every other phone on the market? My DX with MIUI gets 24 hours on one charge if I am lucky. I mean the SGSII was getting about 12 hours. That's a big difference from 24, because it means you can't go a whole day without recharging. You can always recharge at night, so 24 hours is acceptable. But 12 hours simply is not.
