My recommendation for grinding the dragon pickaxe is to Turael point boost. Do Turael slayer and then every 10th task do your preferred slayer master. Every time Turael assigns you a bear, spider, or skeleton task, take that slayer helm boost to the wildy boss.

Dragon pickaxe spec is only useful if it’s pushing you to the next tier of ore fragments at Volcanic Mine. Otherwise you just wear the Celestial ring the entire time and have a permanent invisible +4 boost instead of a (slightly less w/ lightbearer) temporary +3 visible boost.
