I made a post for it a couple months ago, but it didn’t get any attention. Just copy and paste this into the browser and press enter: steam://controllerconfig/1238040/2429777368, and you’ll be able to apply it to your own controller that’s been connected to steam.
The steam store page of this game appears that it has fully controller support, yet after I bought Dragon Age II and its DLC bundle (totally overpriced dlcs), installed them, I found it didn't have controller support at all!
I'm someone who will go to great lengths to use a controller for every PC game that I play. It's just not doable on Dragon Age Origins or Dragon Age 2. They don't feel good to play with a controller with any of the available solutions. The keyboard and mouse layouts are really good, though.
4 cze 2020 · The original pc release of Dragon Age 2 didn't have controller support, which I was very displeased with. I prefer controller because I get pain in my hand from prolonged clicking. Can anyone confirm that this version actually does have that, as stated on the storepage? It has controller UIs too? Last edited by Drakensson; Jun 4, 2020 @ 3:03pm.
These are custom Dragon Age 2 controller support settings for playing with gamepad. Pick one Dragon Age 2 PC controller preset and roll!
4 cze 2020 · I'm trying to figure out how to get the controller to work, but judging by what everyone is saying, support isn't part of the game? Is there a mod for this somewhere? I don't want to play with mouse and keyboard.
That's such false advertisement. I don't understand why it's listed as having controller support. Does Steam know the label shouldn't be there? Also, is it possible to mod a controller into the Steam version?
