I've been having issues with my copy of Dragon Age 2 on my macbook (OSX). I bought the game of Amazon.com. It downloaded fine, installed fine, but when I tried to run it I it kept telling me I failed the release date check.

After installing it, the game's ridiculous DRM (Release Date Check / SecuROM) gave an unknown error upon activation! Without even explaining what the error was! I tried to download a SecuROM diag tool, but this very tool did not recognize my Dragon Age 2.exe as a SecuROM protected application.

18 sie 2015 · I emailed the seller, managed to get a good installation code, and successfully installed the game. Then, when I attempted to launch the game, I received a prompt from SecuROM, asking to perform a release date check.
I just received Dragon Age 2 for PC which I purchased through eBay. I installed it with no problem. But when I tried to run the game, it tried to do a "release date check" which it failed, thus preventing the game from working.
