Dover Lake was the best!
This time of year I always get nostalgic for Dover Lake waterpark. I remember the massive tube slides (with the black innertube nozzles that cut you) and hot dogs the most. Six Flags has nothing on them.
Dover Lake was owned by Marc Glassman (the guy who owns Marc's grocery stores.) They closed in 2006 for undisclosed reasons. Brandywine ski resort purchased it sometime within the past 5 years, and turned the tube slide area (which ran parallel to the Outer Limits hill) into a terrain park.
