If you find it odd when your DOTA2 is not detected and needs to be installed but in fact if you look at in the \Steam\steamapps\Common\ and you see dota 2 beta folder. when you open the dota2.exe and it runs but the dota2 client is not updated.
14 gru 2023 · Sometimes it bugs because keyboard interface / language settings. Those things are messed up by default in windows - for instance, if you spam shift 5-6 times it will try to set the keyboard to "Accessibility Mode". Make sure you disable those things. My windows is in portuguese, sorry.

Launch the game and see if it opens if it does then just go to your in game settings and change your display settings to full screen again.
