I recently got ROG Strix, Ryzen 9, RTX 3060 and loaded up Doom 2016. Played it for a couple of days before updating windows from 10 to 11. The game has been crashing at start since the upgrade. i have tried reinstalling the game as well without any luck.
8 sty 2023 · Windows as an OS is explicitly backwards compatible (you can in fact still run Win95 software on Win11), and the SDKs are also forwards/backwards compatible to some degree. You don't target a specific version of Windows, you target a supported feature set which typically encompasses multiple versions as once.
