Donner Memorial State Park Campground has 154 campsites separated into three areas. Most campsites will accommodate RVs, trailers and tents. A handful of sites are tent-only. Restrooms include hot showers. New reservations are released each day for camping dates 6 months in advance.

The seasonal campground lies near the east shore of scenic Donner Lake and its popular swimming beaches. The campground is set within a lodgepole pine forest around the Ridge Creek and Splitrock loops, and the lake is never more than a short walk away.
Located adjacent to the historic small town of Truckee, California and east of the Sierra Crest, Donner Memorial State Park offers visitors year-round recreational opportunities. Summer activities include camping, picnicking, boating, swimming, biking, fishing, and hiking.
