Most IMAX theaters aren't real IMAX screens. Unless you're certain it's a real IMAX theater, go with Dolby. It depends on which film you’re seeing, how it was shot and prepared for presentation in those formats, and which theatre you go to (some are incomparable to others despite similar branding).

22 lis 2021 · I think the IMAX laser projectors look slightly better than Dolby Vision, apart from a few titles that really lean into the HDR possibilities that Dolby Vision provides. But, I prefer Dolby Atmos over IMAX 12-channel.
