Most IMAX theaters aren't real IMAX screens. Unless you're certain it's a real IMAX theater, go with Dolby. It depends on which film you’re seeing, how it was shot and prepared for presentation in those formats, and which theatre you go to (some are incomparable to others despite similar branding).

22 lis 2021 · Also, from my experience, Dolby Cinema offers deeper blacks compared to IMAX with Laser. Lastly, IMAX with Laser theaters have higher quality control as each theater is monitored remotely by IMAX through mics and other equipment to ensure the audio and video systems are working as intended and can make changes remotely if things are not up to par.
