11 kwi 2023 · Overview of receiver and amplifier settings for Dolby Atmos height speakers. To optimize the Dolby Atmos high-end speaker system, I perform the following steps when setting up an AV receiver or amplifier: Adjust the speaker placement (for example, 5.1.2 or 7.1.4).
The overhead speakers should be at a height between two and three times the vertical position of the listener-level speakers. The angle of elevation from the listening position (to the front and rear) overhead speakers in a 7.1.4 reference layout should be 45 degrees.
2 wrz 2019 · Dolby recommends the side surrounds at 90-110 degrees for a 7.1 config (at the side to slightly behind). For a 5.1 config, they recommend 110-120 (behind). Enveloping sound is the goal but you're ok with 110 (but right at the limit). The front speakers will be more dominant and they will take care of the front soundstage effect.
