Text will automatically flow around those images if they are aligned left or right. Which template are you using? (Most templates should support this, but I found at least one template in the past which specifically added styling which prevented that behaviour.)
16 mar 2015 · The DokuWiki syntax you quote shows you are using the Image box plugin - which allows a caption, but produces a blank alt tag. e.g. [{{ :software:contao:contao_install_open_sauce_00.png |Layout -> Themes -> Themes Import}}]
9 lis 2023 · The trick is to append an additional CGI parameter like this: &.png – the CGI will ignore this unknown parameter but DokuWiki will think it's an image. You also need to add a question mark at the very end or DokuWiki will think the CGI parameters are caching options.
The default way DokuWiki renders images is by adding a link around it that links to its detail page. Screen readers read the title of the link which the system sets to its filename in its namespace (for example, 'wiki:dokuwiki-128.png').
22 lut 2024 · The default favicon.ico used with DokuWiki contains 8-bit PNG images of the dimensions 16x16px, 32x32px, and 48x48px. DokuWiki uses the favicon.ico from $DokuWiki/lib/tpl/images to generate the image used for Opensearch if a viewer wishes to add a custom search engine for a DokuWiki site.

17 sty 2024 · /lib/tpl/dokuwiki/images => (available) pagetools-sprite.png (and subfolder /pagetools/, both not used anymore) further: favicon.ico. A couple of these images are used by plugins, but it would be nice to have more uniform icon usage. So it might be worth to include svg icons with DokuWiki instead of letting plugins search there own.
