Text will automatically flow around those images if they are aligned left or right. Which template are you using? (Most templates should support this, but I found at least one template in the past which specifically added styling which prevented that behaviour.)
I want the image to be centered, with no text wrapping at all. Instead, the image is left justified, and the text wraps to the right. I am a total newbie to DokuWiki, so go easy on me :).
16 mar 2015 · The DokuWiki syntax you quote shows you are using the Image box plugin - which allows a caption, but produces a blank alt tag. e.g. [{{ :software:contao:contao_install_open_sauce_00.png |Layout -> Themes -> Themes Import}}]
9 lis 2023 · DokuWiki allows you to put images in a page and have them link to a page providing details about the image or to a page that contains the full image. It also allows you to include images that do not link to any other page.
You can create a vertical column of center-aligned images but the text that follows will move to the left. Images in Dokuwiki align left by default, but if you explicitly request left-alignment, then the text that follows will wrap around the right side of the image. The reverse holds for right-aligned images.

6 lut 2024 · Within the syntax elements, almost every other DokuWiki markup is allowed. The caption environment provides for automatic numbering and the output of the string “Fig.” or “Figure” (and corresponding for the tables, code and file blocks).
