1 sty 2024 · A recent study by Feil et al 21 examined the use of a sniffer dog for the detection of lung cancer using breath and urine samples. After a 1-year training program, in a double-blind clinical trial, the dog was able to detect lung cancer using breath samples and urine samples with an overall detection rate of 97.6%.
