As always, I recommend going from the first to the bottom. Go to Safe Mode with Networking/Internet and delete or quarantine/remove any files they detect, but be careful with Norton Power Eraser a little bit. Scanners: Recommending the first 6 scanners going to the first scanner going down.
Microsoft can be bypassed easily, sure it has great online scanning but it has very bad offline scanning. Windows is equal to some AVs but not better BUT it is better than no-name AVs. If you want a better third-party AV I recommend Kaspersky SCF and Avast one. Kaspersky is ok to use since your data will be going through Switzerland.
8 lip 2024 · As far as detecting malware and prompting you with warnings when suspicious things happen, Windows 11 works and you probably don’t need a standalone antivirus solution.
Best off getting Malwarebytes or Bitdefender, to do more of a deep scan. Windows isn't really the best for most viruses. A trojan virus was hidden well into my windows file, so doing a deep scan from Malwarebytes. It picked it up.
