Where’s my VIN? Every vehicle has a unique vehicle identification number, often referred to as a VIN. Look on the lower left of your car’s windshield for your 17-character VIN. Your VIN is also located on your car’s registration card, and it may be shown on your insurance card.
The VIN can be found on the VIN plate located on the driver’s side of the dashboard just below the windshield (1). The VIN can also be found on the driver-side doorframe label (2), as well as on documents related to the vehicle’s registration, title and insurance.

NHTSA's new search tool lets you enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to quickly learn if a specific vehicle has not been repaired as part of a safety recall in the last 15 years. Enter VIN here: Note: certain VINS will require the user to pick a Brand via radio button.
By doing a Dodge recall check, you will be able to see whether your car is affected and how to get the problem resolved. At V inCheck.info, you can run a VIN check absolutely and find out if your Dodge vehicle has an existing open recall.
