The noise you actually hear from a supercharger is the whine from the belt. GM designed the belt for their supercharged cars that it would be quieter. Dodge intentionally just left it loud and said fuck it.
20 mar 2015 · You obviously don't have a Hellcat or ever ridden in one or you'd know that they make a significant amount of whine when mashed, even off idle. At least that's what happens with mine, my brother's and my buddy's Hellcats.

25 paź 2021 · Drive shaft seems to be completely fine and has no play. Just changed my diff fluid and there was very little if any metal shavings. Fluid was on the cleaner side actually. Slight whine coming from it but all of my 392’s and hellcat have had some diff whine with proper break in procedures.
17 paź 2021 · My 2018 Hellcat made a lot of noise and at speed -- above 75mph -- and long story short turned out to be due to rear tire noise. New rear tires at 13.5K miles due a puncture of one rear tire had the noise gone. Quite a remarkable difference.
