16 lis 2020 · My 2009 300 with the 2.7 blew a head gasket at 109,000 miles. Fortunately it had a lifetime powertrain warranty. Upon teardown they also found bad camshafts , cracked head and couldn't get parts and FCA instructed dealer to replace the engine with a new one !
1. Clean sealing surfaces of cylinder head and block. 2. Lubricate bolt threads with clean engine oil and install bolts. 3. Install new head gasket over locating dowels. 18 maj 2011 · I didnt have to do this in my Audi's 2.7L but every manufacturers engine is different so i need to know if i need to remove the rocker arms/lashers on the dodge in order to get the head out. I have searched on this issue and only found it an issue in the dodge trucks where the push rods come off if you pull head without taking rockers off first.
