12 lut 2022 · I was facing this issue today while trying to run Docker desktop on a fresh installed Windows 11. I solved by installing Linux on Windows with WSL and then restarting the system. Follow the official Microsoft page here: How to install Linux on Windows with WSL
1 sty 2022 · After too many searches and tries, finally I resolved it by fresh installations of Windows 11. There is a problem with the upgraded windows version especially if you already installed and config WSL2 or other Docker dependencies on the previous version.
15 wrz 2024 · I had docker running on Windows 11 but was having some issues so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall. However the Docker Desktop Installer.exe file doesn’t start up. When you click on it, it starts a wheel for about a second or 2, then disappears.
13 mar 2024 · Docker Desktop 4.28.0 not starting on Windows 11. Reproduce. Install Docker Desktop 4.28.0 with installer and/or upgrade from version 4.27.2. Running on Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS build 22631). Expected behavior. Docker Desktop should start as it did on earlier version 4.27.2. docker version
6 kwi 2021 · On install, Docker fails to start (with Linux Containers). But if I switch to Windows Containers, Docker starts without any problems. I am then unable to switch back to Linux Containers.
28 wrz 2024 · The simplest way to resolve this is by going to Windows Settings and clicking ‘Check for Updates’ to install the latest updates on your system. See the full instructions on taking the backport. I don’t know exactly what this means, but maybe it will help you.
