23 lip 2022 · It might be because an instance of Docker Desktop is running in the background, try opening you Task Manager/Activity Monitor, searching for "Docker Desktop", then quitting all of those processes.
13 mar 2024 · Here's my workaround: In services, set Docker Engine service to Manual start, Docker Desktop Service should already be set to Manual start. Then when I re-boot and fire up Docker Desktop, I'm prompted to start the Docker Desktop service. Problem solved.
20 sty 2023 · I have the dreaded "Docker is starting" forever warning and I've spent the last 2 days trying to resolve it. Previously docker desktop was running fine for me but since Monday it refuses to start. Posting it in this thread as this one seems to describe most accurately what I'm dealing with... 19 kwi 2021 · When trying to open the UI for Docker Desktop, it doesn't even open or loads infinitely. 12 lut 2022 · Here at Windows 11 Education 22H2 (build 22621.819), I was finally able to launch Docker Desktop 4 (build 4.13.1-90346) after deleting %AppData%\Docker\settings.json. It was auto-created again during Docker startup and no container/image/volume was lost because of it.
