If you're using Docker for Windows, then simply start the desktop app installed in C:\Program Files\Docker\Docker\Docker Desktop.exe. You can also stop Docker for Windows and run just the Docker daemon dockerd.exe.
13 mar 2024 · Here's my workaround: In services, set Docker Engine service to Manual start, Docker Desktop Service should already be set to Manual start. Then when I re-boot and fire up Docker Desktop, I'm prompted to start the Docker Desktop service. Problem solved.
6 kwi 2023 · Docker was working fine this morning. IT pushed a windows update, now desktop won't start. WSL2 is up and running. This is the error dump.
Troubleshoot menu. To navigate to Troubleshoot either: Select the Docker menu Docker menu and then Troubleshoot. Select the Troubleshoot icon near the top-right corner of Docker Dashboard. The Troubleshooting menu contains the following options: Restart Docker Desktop. Reset Kubernetes cluster. Select to delete all stacks and Kubernetes resources.
