23 sty 2023 · I wanted to create a PC that followed Waukeen's tenants. Mainly: Make money, invest, and spread the coin. I saw a couple good homebrew options, but I want to try and stick with official materials.
21 sty 2024 · Waukeen, with the assistance of Celestian, a god from Oerth, was due to transport to the Astral plane, but could not remove Waukeen. Lord Ao had anticipated that the gods might try to escape their punishment and had bound them to Toril with unbreakable power.
Waukeen is the goddess of Wealth and Fortune in the Forgotten Realms. Their temples also function as banks to loan and store money & magic items. This map allows for some Ocean's Eleven action.
One of my players is currently a cleric of waukeen, but from the trickery domain. He was a greedy businessman, tricking people into paying for "fortune readings" ( thaumaturgy and some bs generic / cryptic fortune) so that he may use the money to influence trade as waukeen would want.
So I have tried to some digging but come up empty, but I wondering if any one has anything on Waukeen for 5e? Or Merchants in general. The new books of adventure don't ever seam to stray that deeply in to religion (unless I am mistaken). Any help would be deeply appreciated!
