27 mar 2024 · A CAGE code is a five-character identifier assigned by the DLA CAGE Program Office to entities located within the United States and its territories. During the registration process on SAM.gov , a new CAGE code will be assigned if one does not exist already.
If you do not have a CAGE code, you must register your company with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to do business with DLA. A financial account capable of receiving electronic funds transfers is a mandatory requirement, and is provided in the SAM registration.
