7 wrz 2013 · I had toyed with the idea of making 'shower cap' type covers for the port hole bungs with elasticated backs but I'm not sure this would look right at all. So is anybody aware of a good company that I could send them to that could re-cover the bungs at a reasonable cost.
20 wrz 2020 · My porthole screens were starting to deteriorate after 10 years. The old screens were a fiberglass mesh. I looked into replacements, but could not be sure of pothole manufacturer or their exact size. What I did find seemed to be quite expensive at $40 to $50 each.
27 cze 2023 · The answer is to have bug screens covering all openings, particularly portlights and hatches, which you might want to open all night for ventilation. Most portlight manufacturers make mesh screens that fit their portholes.
7 cze 2008 · They remove their portlights, install your blank covers (to keep the weather out), put the portlights in the same box you sent the blanks to them in, and ship them to you. You rebuild in your shop, then ship them back and they return the blanks.
