19 kwi 2021 · Process Lasso has a feature to keep the PC from sleeping when specified processes are running. It calls this a Prevent Sleep rule, and it can be applied to the display only, or entire PC. Internally, it uses the SetThreadExecutionState API, called by its 'Governor' service.

I have to stop windows from going into sleep when my program is running. And I don't only want to prevent the sleep-timer, I also want to cancel the sleep-event if I press the sleep-button or in any other way actively tell the computer to sleep.
Start > in the search box, type power options > press Enter key > left side, click " Change when the computer sleeps " > under both On Battery and Plugged In, click the pointer and change it to NEVER > click Save Changes
16 mar 2019 · When I put computer to sleep using a button or start menu, screen turns off but everything stays on for a few minutes until it shuts down 'unexpectedly'.
5 lis 2010 · If you want to disable the Windows Vista power management settings, then here is how : Open Control Panel → System and Maintenance → Power Options. Click on the Change plan settings under your currently selected power plan. Change the setting for Put the computer to sleep to Never as shown. Click the Save Changes button to save the settings.
6 mar 2015 · You can download and run this little program: No Sleep. Get it from here. No Sleep - Cnet. No Sleep - Apponic. It moves your mouse once a minute by one pixel. Thus it prevents your windows from going to sleep mode.
19 paź 2011 · I've had issues with both Vista/W7 sleep/hibernate modes as well. Go into the CP and get into system and security/power options., edit power settings and choose never.
