4 wrz 2021 · Once extension added successfully enter below link in your chrome. chrome://extensions/shortcuts. You see Disable Keyboard Shortcuts window you can enter your shortcut key there. Hope it work for you! This addon does disable Ctrl+N from opening a new browser, but it disables the key binding from doing anything else as well.
They say the only workaround is to "Create an application shortcut" where you can now override the Ctrl+N key.
1 lis 2012 · There are no restrictions on the shortcuts you can create or customize. You can even disable shortcuts if you assign no action to them. In the specific case asked in the question, Ctrl + Shift + W for closing "other tabs" looks like this: Great extension. However, it's supported from Windows XP to Windows 10. No support for other OSs so far.
