CSCs offer assisted access of e-services to citizens with a focus on enhancing governance, delivering essential government and public utility services, social welfare schemes, financial services, education and skill development courses, health and agriculture services and digital literacy, apart from a host of B2C services.
Today it is the top-most UIDAI Registrar in the country. CSCs also act as an Authentication/e-KYC User Agency (AUA/KUA) and Aadhaar Authentication/e-KYC Service Agency (ASA/KSA) for central and State government departments, national and grameen banks and insurance companies.
Welcome To Common Services Centres. The CSC is a strategic cornerstone of the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), approved by the Government in September, 2006, with an aim to cover all 6 lakhs census villages by one lakh CSCs, as per 1:6 ratio equitably spread across rural India, as part of its commitment in the National Common Minimum Programme to introduce e-governance on a massive scale.
