The Diamond DV20/DA20 Katana is an Austrian-designed two-seat general aviation light aircraft. Developed and manufactured by Diamond Aircraft , it was originally produced in Austria as the DV20. The DV20 shares many features from the earlier Diamond HK36 Super Dimona .

26 lis 2018 · If I want to not confuse ATC, I need to say "Katana" or "DV-20" vice "Eclipse" or "DA-20." From what I understand, their computer only has one entry based on the original FAA certification. DA-20s don't have much useful load to start with.

9 maj 2011 · While waiting for Snave, I might be able to answer some of your questions. I have a Katana (DA20-A1), but I haven't flown the Eclipse (DA20-C1) yet. The Eclipse has the more powerful Continental engine (125hp) and is rated for a higher useful load.
