(SOLVED) Destiny 2 instantly crashes when I open it. Solution: Steam > Settings > Interface > Client Beta Participation > Select "No beta chosen" then steam will update --800+ hours in the game and the first time this happens.
1 kwi 2022 · I manage to solve this issue by doing the following: browse local files > battleye > uninstall > restart computer > press play > install battleye > problem solved. The main issue is battleye failing to launch the game, causing my game not to open after pressing play on steam.

Restart pc ( may or may not be needed ) Verify integrity of d2's game files through steam (should result in "52 files missing". Navigate back to d2's game files through File Explorer and ensure the battleye folder is now present. Click play and battleye should give you a prompt.
6 mar 2024 · This issue was resolved (for me) with the introduction of Destiny 2 Update 7.3.5.1, in which Bungie corrected two crash conditions: One which was related to hoverboard tricks; and, one which was related to an undescribed exploit that could crash others in the area.
