Desert, Jungle, Soviet, Urban, Nuclear Strike - I always loved those games. Some gameplay of the last one here. Top-down vehicle combat, exploring a map, finding new and varied vehicles to use... excellent! Has there been anything like that in recent years?
Pretty sure there was 4. Desert, Jungle, Urban, and Nuclear. I remember being Meh about Urban Strike. Desert was great but only 4 levels. Jungle was pretty much the best one.
About 10 years ago I went to the Midwest Gaming Classic outside of Milwaukee and there was a guy that had three boxes filled with sealed desert strike games for sega. Apparently he bought it when KB Toys went out of business.

It helps that I have a PSP with the EA Replay collection on it, featuring other classics such as Road Rash (I, II, and III), Haunting: Starring Polterguy (I want a new one!), and both Desert and Jungle Strike. Plus several others.
