Practice Schedules – South Des Moines Seahawks. Practices are Monday-Saturday each week of season. Swimmers should attend the practice time they registered for in advance of season. Current Season is Winter 2019-20 Roster. Practice Days & Times. Novice/Intermediate Swimmers. Tues/Thurs 6:00-7:00PM & Sat 11:30AM-12:30PM OR.
Des Moines Parks and Recreation operates 2 swimming pools, 3 family aquatic centers, 4 splash pools, 15 spraygrounds and 3 wading pools. We also offer swim lessons and a number of special aquatic events each year.
