The ability to successfully bond restorations to dentine is central to minimally invasive restorative dentistry. While dentine bonding agents have gone through a variety of ‘generations’, it is the purpose of this article to describe the latest clinical and laboratory research on universal adhesives. Results from the latest laboratory and ...
10 wrz 2024 · Summary: This review provides a thorough analysis of dentin bonding systems, delving into the structures and bonding mechanisms of both enamel and dentin. By exploring various adhesive systems and their components, it highlights the ongoing challenges in achieving optimal resin–dentin adhesion.
29 lip 2022 · The objective of this review was to determine whether the use of collagen-depletion strategies after acid-etching procedures may improve the bond strength of resin-based materials to dentin.
30 kwi 2000 · A better choice would be a flowable compomer such as Dyract Flow or Compoglass Flow. If you are bonding just to dentin, you can use Prime & Bond NT without etching and still get reasonably good bond strengths. You also could use a simple self-etching product, such as Prompt or Clearfil SE Bond.
Efforts towards achieving durable resin–dentin bonds have been made for decades, including the understanding of the mechanisms underlying hybrid layer (HL) degradation, manufacturing of improved adhesive systems, as well as developing strategies
1 sty 2018 · The aim of this review is to analyze and critically assess the available research on the factors that influence the stability of the resin–dentin bonds and the strategies for preservation of the adhesive interface over time.
preferred properties of adhesive systems are biocompatibility with dental tissues, improved bond strength to dental tissues, and better resistance to chewing stresses.
