13 sie 2015 · I have an Inspiron 17R laptop. I upgraded to windows 10. Now the numeric keypad on my laptop is not working. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? How do I fix it?
22 lip 2014 · Keyboard has no num lock key. This is how to turn the number keypad on. Go to PC settings, click on Ease of Access, click on mouse. Under mouse Keys - Make sure, Use Mouse Keys when Num lock is on is set to off. Then your key pad will work.
18 lis 2012 · Keyboard has no num lock key. I just received my new XPS 8500, and there doesn't seem to be a num lock key on the keyboard. Hitting keys on the numeric keypad produces numbers or arithmetic symbols, not functions like "Home" and "End," which is what I've used the numeric keypad for since the 1980s. I'm finding this extremely difficult to work with.
Most laptops use the Fn key to use Num Lock. Find the symbol that looks like a padlock with a number in it, maybe F11. Then hold down the Fn key and press the that key to enable Num Lock, press it again to turn it off.
22 lip 2020 · To en/disable, tap shift 5 times. To use alt codes, double-tap alt, punch the code on the bluetooth numpad, and single-tap alt. To use hex codes, same as above, but tap "+" before the code. The SK taskbar icon shows when the alt key is being virtually held. You can also set it to beep if desired.
16 lip 2019 · Check in BIOS to see if the Number Lock enable setting is set to Enable. To get into BIOS, start the laptop and press F2 when the Dell logo is on the screen. Navigate to the Table.9 POST Behavior menu and check the setting. Here’s a link to the owner manual for your laptop.
7 sie 2019 · Dell has seemingly "decided" to not support Ctrl-Fn-Arrow keys as other laptop makers. In turn, I use an HP now and the Inspirion is disqualified for accounting or IT-developer use. As is the XPS by the way.
