My wife ordered a new dell laptop on March 1st 2022. On March 3rd 2022 it was delivered. 30 minutes after it was delivered we received a call from a "dell technical support assistant to help us make sure our new dell laptop was running perfectly". We hadn't even taken it out of the box yet.
So I ordered a laptop from dell.com and got a fraud alert through text message from my bank. So my guess is my credit card could not have the pending transaction appear because my bank just blocked it until I sent them a confirmation text that it was me.
